Who needs a car for the family when you have an AfricaBike? Certainly not Susanne Eijssen and her two kids.
The sister of Kona's Dutch sales manager Tom Eijssen and innovator of the "FamilyAfricaBike-a-Rig," Susanne lives in 'S Hertogenbosch, Holland and is shooting for a Guinness Book of World Records nomination for being the first parent in Europe to balance two laughing children on a cruiser bike for an entire summer while riding hands-free. Telling from her kids smiles, Mom is doing a superb job so far.
Besides installing two AfricaBike compatible car-seats and cargo bags that sit on the burly utility rack, the two-wheeled urban-assault beast/non-gas powered grocery-getter also has a California Highway Patrol-style front shield so the little lady in the mini-car seat doesn't get wind burn or bugs in her freshly permed curly hair. Also, the flashy cloth mud flaps add a nice personal touch. Now that's thinking.
With all the money they'll be saving on gas, the only thing to recommend is to take the savings and invest in helmets!
Nice AfricaBike Susanne (and fam).

Hi,
Can Kona create a page on Facebook for the Africabike. I just got one and I am a big fan - I want more people to know about them and to donate more bikes!!!

What seats are those - especially the one on the back? I've looked for a compatible child carrier for my wife's AfricaBike 3 and have yet to find a good fit... Thanks.
